Retail Store Supervisor Full Time

Customer service and sales Supervisor job, at a retail store selling Tiles, Flooring, Fire places and kitchen & bath merchandise.

HOURLY WAGES & WORK HOURS : CAD$ 24.50 hourly ; 30 to 40 hours per Week ; Monday-Saturday

POSITION: Permanent and fulltime

LANGUAGES REQUIRED: English

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

EXPERIENCE: 1 year to less than 2 years in retail sales

ASSET LANGUAGES: Hindi and/Punjabi

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Assign sales workers to duties
Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
Authorize return of merchandise
Establish work schedules
Sell merchandise
Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Perform same duties as workers supervised
Receive and issue payments
Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
Maintain and order supplies
Perform opening and closing activities
Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
Supervise 3-4 people
